In the past few years, with the struggle of Covid-19, medical staff all over the world have worked incredibly hard to keep each and every one of us healthy and safe. Their work, even though it is essential to all of our lives, tends to go overlooked and underappreciated. So, when our team at Hog Roast Harlow was given the opportunity to cater for Ramsey health Care (in Harlow), we were overjoyed that our catering team were able take part in the celebration of all the persistent dedication and clear perseverance of the Ramsey health care medical staff.
The hardworking staff truly deserved a hearty meal from Hog Roast Harlow – so of course we had to serve our signature whole roasted hog, precisely carved and cut to be eaten as tender and juicy pulled pork. Alongside a 50/50 split of sizzling sausages and marinated chicken thighs. And as for the vegetarian guests, we served slow simmered BBQ pulled jackfruit and grilled some colourful vegetable and halloumi skewers that were bursting with flavour. Each of these were served with soft bread rolls to make a mean flavourful sandwich.
The guests particularly complimented the side of herb dress buttery potatoes; we also served a mixture of sweet potato and traditional chips. Each plate was served on wooden bamboo crockery and cutlery. An aesthetic and sustainable option of crockery and cutlery and perfect for this occasion making an easy clean up.
Looking around to see a room of empty plates and big smiles is all Hog Roast Harlow needed to see to know we had accomplished a job well done. Its so fulfilling as a catering company to connect with our guests with food and give them a meal that they really love, especially when the guests are as deserving as those at Ramsey Health Care.
