Hog Roast Walton-on-the-Naze – Birthday Dining for Mum in Walton-on-the-Naze

We have a wonderful event to tell you all about from this past weekend – the second of August. From week to week weddings, this past weekend the Hog Roast Walton-on-the-Naze chef team were able to change things up during this busy summer wedding season to instead join a birthday celebration for a mother. To be more specific, this was an event put on by Walton local Jackie for her own mum Lisa, who just passed her 60^th birthday. Knowing that mum Lisa should probably have something big with friends and family to mark the milestone year, Jackie pulled out all the stops to bring together a guest list of 60 and a catered lunch from yours truly at Hog Roast Walton-on-the-Naze.

The second you invite Hog Roast Walton-on-the-Naze’s catering into your event, it immediately steps everything up to a new level. No longer is it just a small get together to enjoy a bit of cake and cava for a birthday; now, with our catering at the centre, it is a full on event where memories are guaranteed to be made. Mum Lisa deserved no less, after all, so our chef team made sure to craft a very special feast worthy of the woman and the occasion. The answer there was, of course, our signature hog roast, complete with all the trimmings of sage and onion stuffing, crispy crackling, and fresh apple sauce. Our hog roast is always the answer in such situations on account of the style and the spectacle that it provides to an event, never mind the incredible tender and crisp pork tastes it delivers on top of that! There are few better birthday surprises than seeing our hog roast cook away in the authentic spit style, with 60 of your closest friends and family there to join along for the show.

Our menu was then rounded it with fresh fries with a sweet potato option woven through our chip medley too, along with tomato and mozzarella salad, red cabbage slaw, mixed leaves, and plenty of rolls and wraps to pile everything high on for the ultimate summer feast.
