Hog Roast Colchester – Wedding Season Continues in July

For weeks now a lot of what you will have heard us talking about across the Hog Roast Colchester comms is the wedding season. As a year round wedding caterer, the summer season is fully the wedding season. On account of the weather benefits for your special day, it is the time of year where most weddings are scheduled. As a caterer, that means just about every weekend in the summer is booked up weddings.

Of course, we’ll never ever take that for granted. Though a wedding weekend may be long and busy, to be a part of them is such a special thing. We take it as a privilege always to be contributing to a truly special part of people’s lives – one that they will look fondly on for the rest of their days. Not only do we get to sit in attendance and see the whole thing unfold, but we also get to play a vital role in helping to shape the day, too. The dining at a wedding is integral to the success of the day; just about everyone will look out for the menu as early as they can when invited to a wedding. When it comes to the day itself, everyone always looks forward to the first dishes to come out the kitchen.

Our wedding season at Hog Roast Colchester continued once more this past weekend with the beautiful wedding ceremony for Faye and Jake. Our service began with one of the most eye-catching and colourful arrangements on any of our menus, the antipasti grazing table. Great for inviting guests into the reception and setting a tone and atmosphere from the off, our antipasti grazing table offers perfect picture opportunities and even greater tastes thereafter!

Then came our main event, the hog roast. Cooked in the traditional spit style, the hog roast of our name has always been a wedding favourite. The Hog Roast Colchester team delight in getting to show it off at any event, never mind a wedding where the stakes come all the higher.

The day was not done there for the Hog Roast Colchester team, however, as we later returned further into the evening to cap off the night with an evening buffet of bacon rolls and sausage barms with chips and seasonal leafy greens.
