At Hog Roast Leavenheath, we are honoured to be part of life’s big celebrations and there’s something particularly special about helping families mark milestone birthdays. One of our most recent events was a milestone birthday celebration on 7th March, where our team had the pleasure of catering for 36 guests. With a relaxed evening celebration and a serve time of 18:15, it was the perfect setting for delicious food, laughter and a memorable party.
With all of our guests, they get to choose a bespoke menu to fit their vision, one of our most popular menus is our gourmet BBQ menu, which is the perfect choice for informal celebrations. It’s a menu that provides a variety of options whilst delivering high quality ingredients, so even the pickiest of your guests will have something to enjoy and talk about long after the last plate is cleared. Guests were spoilt for choice with a mouthwatering selection of grilled classics such as: homemade beef burgers, gourmet sausages, thai style chicken kebabs, BBQ marinated spare ribs. Each option was served with fried onions and melted cheese, along with a selection of bread rolls and wraps, including wholemeal choices and gluten free rolls available on request. This meant that everyone could build their perfect BBQ meal while enjoying the relaxed, sociable atmosphere that buffet style catering creates.
Alongside the BBQ classics, we served a selection of fresh and flavourful sides that complemented the grilled dishes perfectly. Guests enjoyed Greek salad, our chef’s own pasta salad and roasted baby new potatoes which provided the perfect balance of lighter options alongside the hearty barbecue favourites. Everything was served on wooden bamboo crockery with wooden cutlery and high quality napkins, giving the event an eco friendly touch while still looking stylish and practical for a party setting. Of course, no birthday celebration is complete without a sweet treat. To complete the evening, guests enjoyed delicious profiteroles alongside a refreshing fresh fruit salad, the perfect ending to a delicious meal.
