A vitally important part of being an event caterer is listening to your customers. Not everyone comes to you for the same thing. Some don’t even come for the things that you typically advertise, but if you are to prove your worth as a bespoke caterer then it is those kinds of events and services that become the most important.
Here at Hog Roast Lexden, our bespoke capabilities are a huge part of what we are able to offer to our customers. Along with our unique signature hog roast, we believe that this capability is what makes us stand out from the bustling crowd of caterers in the events industry. While our hog roast is typically the main reason that customers choose us, sometimes a customer just comes to us because of our well-trusted reputation of professional and quality service, rather than the hog roast itself. In such cases, it may be an entirely different menu that they are after, well away from the tastes of our namesake roasts.
Curries are not entirely new to us for one, even if you do not regularly see them on our menus. As a bespoke caterer, we have always been flexible to new requests, and curry, rice, poppadom’s, naan, and pakora’s are all dishes we have taken on before. Even in our canapes menu, you will see that we have a selection of Indian snack dishes – for such cases where we have had a request for Indian style dining we just make sure to pull from those same skills that make those canape dishes so great.
There are other canape dishes that you will also often see blown up into a fuller dining experience. We offer mini fish and chips, for example, proving that we have the capability to actually provide a fancy “chip shop” dining experience. The same goes for our mini pizzas. We already have the pizza ovens, so from time to time we have provided fresh Italian pizza catering for customers.
