Just as good as a wedding celebration itself is the re-celebration of that wedding day years after the event. As a wedding caterer, we at Hog Roast Harlow are always endeared to see so many that wish to revisit that special day and mark just how far they have come as a couple and will continue to go together. A wedding anniversary is a truly special thing. While the big day is of course one of the best days of your life, it’s never too early nor too late to revisit that day for one more celebration of love and matrimony.
So, then, our thanks go out to Dawn for inviting the Hog Roast Harlow team to cater for her very special wedding anniversary celebration. It was a great day for it as our catering managers Julian and Kirsty had all of our hog roasting equipment set up out in the garden where we could both finish up our special hog roast menu and serve there too under the cover our marquee tent (just to keep the sun off our foods while they remain fresh). With friends and family in attendance, we were told to expect around 60 guest in total, which just goes to show just how big a celebration of love and matrimony this was. Everyone always wants to come out for such an endearing and heart warming celebration, and so it was up to the Hog Roast Harlow team to ensure that our dining matched up to the occasion.
Of course, when you are cooking up a hog roast you always know it is going to live up to the occasion. With just as much style and specialness as any wedding day or the anniversary celebrations years after, it’s a perfect dish for any day. Accompanied by our usual sides of golden crackling, sage and onion stuffing, apple sauce, fresh salads, slaws, and baby new potatoes, with an added addition of roasted chicken thighs for even more meaty flavour and goodness, it was always going to be a winner with our 60 guests!
